Chai pe charcha 5 - Coffee Home

Chai pe charcha .. I have lot of memories associated with Coffee Home, Connaught Place since my school days. We used to be here atleast once a month. Reasonably priced and good food. I visited thus place after ages with my sister and it was purely nostalgic. Ambience is still the same. Upma was good, burger & coffee were ok. It’s such a spacious outlet buzzing with crowd with both outside and inside seating. I prefer outside seating more given the weather is good. It’s opposite Hanuman Mandir. Paid parking is available. It’s a nice place serving South Indian, North Indian, snacks. The menu is all vegetarian.

Wheelchair accessible- Yes

Post reliving early years memories at the Coffee Home, we were craving for some nice strong road side ‘tapti’ wali tea ‘chai’

And there this guy was ..making delicious litti chokha & refreshing ginger tea right outside Coffee Home. And ofcourse, like there’s no reason to have tea & not to mention we were craving for it , we stood there and had a cup each discussing with the hawker how does he make such delicious litti chokha dand since when was he here? Got to know he has this cart for over 10 years!

,

Interesting how small conversations lead to nice moments ..

@TusharSuradkar for your ‘chai pe charcha’ 5

I like modest tea shops and coffee houses that serve with a personal touch @Shalz

Litti Choka also goes nicely with Tea :teacup_without_handle:

Congratulations on an excellent Chai pe Charcha moment :bouquet:

That’s a great post with amazing videos @Shalz :folded_hands:

Such a heartwarming post, @Shalz! :hot_beverage::sparkles:
It’s wonderful how Coffee Home has been part of your memories since school days.
Places like this truly become more than just restaurants, they feel like a part of life. :raising_hands:
