I hope you are doing terrific! Today I wanted to share a picture a took a few days ago in Cañete.
Cañete is located approximately 130km from the center of Lima to the south. This area is mostly based on beaches and crops. We had the opportunity to stop at the Cerro Azul beach. This beach is known by many generations of Peruvians, who visit it very frequently. This area is also fishing, so it is common to see small boats very early in the morning and even, if there is luck, to buy very fresh fish from the same fishermen!
I hope you enjoy the pictures! Here in Peru, it is already summer and it is fabulous! (my emoji)
Thanks for sharing these! The beach looks really nice, I want to be there! How long did you stay? Can you surf at this beach? I’ve never tried it, but it looks so much fun! What else can you do/see there?
@DanniS hi there! Glad you liked this post… We just stopped by for a few hours because our final destination was Ica (200km south)… People surf a lot in Peru and Cerro Azul is a good place to do that. I´ve tried in the past but it´s been a whileeeeee since my last time! there are several activities that you can do over there, such as kayak, snorkel, fishing… it´s pretty cool!
