Century strange peak-Dabajian Mountain
The Dabajian Mountain(3492m) which are No.28 and No.36 in Taiwan’s Top 100 mountain.Because of mountain is suddenly uplifted and with lonely dangerous peak, it’s also got Century strange peak name.Otherwise in Taiwanese aboriginal language it’s called “Babo Papak” which means two ears on the head.So It’s always considered the most special mountain in the Taiwan.
If you want to trekking Dabajian Mountain, the most hardest part is not to Climb 1600m to the top of the mountain. The most difficult part is that you have to walk 20 km of forest road. And on this road you can’t find any place to take rest or view you can see.
All trekking need three days, on the second you can reach to the top of Dabajian Mountain, but because this mountain is the holy mountain of the Taiwanese aborigines. So there is no one can get up to the top peak.
And there still have different views can see, like cloud sea, sunset and maple tree with fallen leaves.
The best part of the whole trip is that I have completed this journey with my Junior high school classmates. After graduation, we reduced our contact.And now because of trekking we are get together more time, to maintain our emotions.
