Century old Baobab Tree and a Sacred Waterfall

My family and I decided to dedicate 2019 to exploring Botswana and so far we are on a roll. Nestled in Moremi Gorge is a waterfall in a very hot sub dessert terrain.

Used by the bushmen as an oasis and rest stop while hunting, it is taken to be a sacred place with many of the locals believing to have natural healing powers.

Along the track we discovered an age old legend of Botswana, the Baobab tree. With centuries to its name, it was truly captivating.
