Just out curiosity did you have to ask a special permission to shoot in the Cemetery? What time did you choose to go for photo shooting? As lighting might be a critical factor in achieving a good photo. Also, you can take a look at How to tell a story through your photography article where you’ll find some great tips.

No permission was required. The cemetery is a public space similar to a park. I went there to see an outdoor art display that was hosted by the cemetery and noticed its (the cemetery’s) beauty. Because I had not gone to the cemetery specifically for photos initially, my timing was all wrong and the sun was very harsh, hence the B&W filters on some of the images.
