Celebrating World Heritage Day – My Visit to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalay, Delhi NCR

April month, I explored my heritage city – Delhi NCR, visiting the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalay near Udyog Bhawan Metro Station, formerly known as Trimurti Bhawan.

This museum is a treasure trove documenting India’s journey from independence to the present, showcasing the lives and contributions of all Indian Prime Ministers and their respective political parties.
As I reached, I was greeted by a beautiful park—peaceful and green. I drank water from the water cooler there and moved toward the ticket counter.

Entry Fee: ₹50 per person

I kept my belongings in the locker room and entered the main complex.

The old building has been converted into a library, while the new Pradhanmantri Sangrahalay has been beautifully constructed in the rear garden area. I spent nearly 3 hours exploring the museum.

Each gallery was a story in itself.

I read documents, clicked photos, and observed the contributions of each Prime Minister with respect and curiosity. Every exhibition hall had something unique and inspiring.

Nice to see that they have provided a water cooler for relief from the warm weather.

Late Shri Chandrashekhar, who was an MP from Ballia, was the first Indian politician to become Prime Minister directly from an MP in his Indian political journey.
I have visited this museum, perfect place for next generation for understanding the Indian political history.
Thanks for sharing with us @Ranu5g .:handshake:
