Hope everyone is well, happy and safe.

Indeed, being a Local Guide gives us incredible experience. It has been a colorful journey for many of us and although I just joined Local Guides in 2017, I have to say I have been enjoying every minute of it!

As Local Guides Connect is celebrating its glorious 5th birthday, we believe it’s a high time for us to see and share our amazing journey as Local guides. There are so many wonderful things happen from this journey, be it solid communities, extensive networks, significant changes and progress in various spheres, positive contribution, and spirit to positively contribute to our communities. Amidst the challenging situation that most of us are facing, all these bonds will certainly help and warm our hearts.

So, in this auspicious occasion, I would like to invite you all, wonderful Local Guides from all over the world, to celebrate lives and share what being Local Guides means to us and where Google Maps, together with Local Guides Connect, can take us.

Indonesian Local Guides @indahnuria dan @Radjasitanggang will be your host, with special guests of @Velvel l and @Nyainurjanah who will be happy to share with us all their journey as Local Guides and share some tips and tricks to ensure our fun journeys, through our contribution, in Connect and Google Maps continues!

Oooh… this sounds awesome @indahnuria @Radjasitanggang !! The Manchester Local Guides are having a picnic from 1.30pm on the same day, so maybe we could pop into your meet-up for a brief while to say hi!! @PeteMHW just to complicate your meet-up! :joy: But it would be fun to join the Indonesians and saying hi!

Oh, just realised that the West Bengal Local Guides are also doing a virtual meet-up at about the same time! @PritishB did I get my times right? We could all pop into each other’s meet-up (well, the Manchester one will be in real life) just to say hi and wish each other a grand 5th Birthday!! :sunglasses:

Going to be there tomorrow for sure @indahnuria

Even though I have joined connect very recently, it has provided me with lots from friends from around the world. This is definitely celebrating lives and friendships.
