One of the highlights of my recent experience was meeting the delegates from Cyberlocos and Creative Discovery, whose passion for travel, storytelling, and cultural exploration made the evening truly inspiring.
Hosted by KJET Group at Novotel Phnom Penh BKK1, the welcome dinner brought together creators, tourism professionals, and local partners to celebrate the beginning of their journey in Cambodia. It was a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about different perspectives, and showcase Cambodia’s rich culture and hospitality.
As a journalist and Google Local Guide, I always appreciate meeting people who are passionate about discovering destinations beyond the usual tourist attractions. The delegates shared their enthusiasm for experiencing authentic local culture, connecting with communities, and creating meaningful travel stories that inspire others to explore the world.
Events like this demonstrate how tourism is more than visiting new places—it is about building friendships, promoting cultural understanding, and creating lasting memories.
