Hello Local Guides Community friends. Firstly I hope my post finds all of you in good health. Hope all of you ate doing well too. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you one of my latest achievements. But, firstly i would like to share what inspired me to be a Google Local Guide. I started posting in Google map almost 5 years back, and one of my primary reason was, I saw some places missing or marked wrongly in the maps. Many of my friends mocked Google Maps and spoke ill about its accuracy back in those days. However I felt different from them. Being a explorer by heart and a thorough follower of Google Map I knew Google Map was still growing and, it is requesting guides like us to help it improve in every aspect. I made sure to add the corrections required for the wrongly marked places and missing places in the Google Map whichever I personally come across. Although not everyone of them are accepted easily as you all know, however I never did stop posting them by abiding with the changed and updated regulations of Google Map for editing. And today I got a little chunk of happiness when I saw this achievement of mine:
I know there are still many a roads not taken, many a forest not trekked, many a hills not climbed, many a lakes not swam, albeit my explorer heart cries out loud, “bring 'em on”. My dream is to follow those unseen unknown paths and leave my trails in Google Map. Amen!!
