As many of you know, road mapping and adding missing roads to Google Maps is a fantastic way to improve navigation, whether it’s a small rural path or a new urban street; knowing that these updates help people reach their destinations more accurately and smoothly. It has truly become a real passion of mine.
Looking at the stats for my mapping year from Sep 2, 2025, to Sep 2, 2026, it’s incredible to see how consistent daily efforts add up. This mapping journey has virtually taken me across multiple countries, where I focused on adding critical infrastructure. Here is a breakdown of the missions I’ve contributed to:

Tanzania: 1,086.7 km
Kenya: 1,000.9 km
Uganda: 1,002.9 km
South Africa: 515.3 km
Nigeria: 178.8 km
Ethiopia: 117.8 km
DR Congo: 107.9 km
Pakistan: 105.9 km
Myanmar (Burma): 51.9 km
India: 111.1 km
Nepal: 1.5 km (currently mission completed)
Indonesia: 55.0 km (currently mission completed)
Bangladesh: 70.3 km (currently mission completed)
Reaching this 367-day streak isn’t just about the numbers for me; it’s about the consistent effort to make the map more accurate and helpful for Google Maps’ users in all those countries. Whether it’s a main highway or a small neighborhood street, every contribution counts! As of today, my year of mapping contributions stands at a total of 3,049 KM for this period (with a total overall contribution of 4,406 km and 5,500 completed challenges).
I want to thank the amazing Local Guides community, and a heartfelt thank you to the members of TRAC, for being such a constant source of inspiration. Seeing everyone else’s contributions always motivates me to keep going.
