Category change is immediately rejected

I’m trying to correct the category of a pharmacy from “Pharmaceutical company” to a “Pharmacy” but the change is auto rejected. I live in the area and the place was added with the wrong cat. How can I get this to be changed or at least pass the initial script checks?

Changing a category can be very easy, @mabazeed , or very complicate.

It mostly depends of the online appearance of the business, so a search about the business, before to try an edit, will help you to understand your probability of the edit to be approved. Can you share a link of the business listing in Maps?

This is actually in my hometown, and I uploaded a picture of the pharmacy front (couldn’t do it for the inside).

The same thing happened when trying to add a pharmacy right in front of my house, it also got rejected.

Unfortunately the address in the Business listing is very generic, and I suspect Maps think the place is a branch of this one

Improving the information about the business, adding a more accurate address, may help Google Maps to better identify the business, and to make easier a different edit.

That’s unfortunate. I’ll try to add a more accurate address. My hometown is immature in terms of addressing and street names are recently added (but not updated on maps), hoping this will change soon.
