Another first for me in a Japan.
In this cafe, you can catch live giant scrimps. They are clearly visible in the blue tank in the second image.
You get to put bait on a tiny hook tied to a mini fishing pole. Pull the poor creature out of the water, and kill it.
Then you get to grill her on a gas stove outside the cafe.
Japan, you keep surprising me.

Japan is a country unlike any other in the world. It is both a technology giant and traditional. The two are wonderful together and it is at the top of my favorite countries list.
