Çatalhöyük is the oldest town ever discovered in south eastern Turkey. The town dates to 7500 BC to 5200 BC. The town might have had a population up to 10,000 people living there, as well all the structures seemed to be domestic living areas, and no public places were found. Their buildings were kept clean and all trash was dumped at the side of the building and it is theorized that they occupied the roof tops during the day. One key of the growth of this town is it’s proximity to a volcano that a source of Obsidian (Volcanic Glass) and the Anatolian Plains was a source of the origin of wheat. Originally wheat when the wheat korn reach maturity, the seed would fly off the stalk in the wind or at a slight touch. There was a mutation that occurred in wheat fixing the seed to the stalk. So before it would naturally fall off the glass stalk and fall on earth now would not come off. This would normally end that mutation as seed would never make it to germinate anymore, however man realized they could harvest the plant and sow those seeds with the mutation and allowing more plants to grow and they can benefit with the calories from wheat. So if you could put a pin on the map and say civilization started here, this would be clearly one of the candidates for that label. Anyways feel free to look at my pictures link is below.

Yes I must go to Indus valley one day, when I was studying in university I remember I did a study of Harappan Culture I intend to travel one day maybe when I retire… You know there are 6 cradles of civilizations? Mesopotamia (look at my post of Sanli Urfa), Egypt, Indus Valley, Yellow River (China) and Central Andes (Chile), and Mesoamerica(Mexico)? So far I only been to two centers, (Mesopotamia and China) But before I die I plan to see them all. I will check out your posting of India.
