How can you find out who made this camp fire?
Farmers from the plains, they do not have wood and usually set fire to tin cans, broken raffia bags, foil and all kinds of rubbish.
How do you find out where a border policeman was hiding?
Looking for cheap energy drink, empty Nescafe envelopes and empty flat water cans, plus kent cigarette packs
If the border police stop you and you have black bags in the car, what do you do?
Take the bags out of the car and give the police gloves pink and let them search the bags.
@To_paul That place is beautiful. But it is too bad there are lots of rubbish. From your photos, I guess you collected some rubbish from that place, right? Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
yes @Ant_Bad_Yogi the place is beautiful and quite wild, there live many wild birds, some have a nest on the ground near the rubbish. Fish are fewer. I saw freshwater turtles, water snakes, muskrat and foxes. I took the garbage bags to town in a garbage bin in a neighborhood with many anglers. Most of the garbage I collected came from anglers
Thank you very much
It’s sad that people don’t look after their rubbish and just leave it in the nature. The place is beautiful and I guess we need to be more pro-active and start cleaning the nature ourselves. Small steps towards big achievements. Is this place somewhere near you?
It never stops to amaze me that people would dump garbage like that in an area that they themselves want to spend time (e.g. fishing). Who wants to sit around that mess? I just don’t get it.
Thank you for sharing this report. You have done a great job.
I left the coordinates to the photos from the post,
I collected the trash from a distance of 590 meters. about six fishing places
In the next 2.4 kilometers fishing spots are more frequent
then there are still 25 kilometers of canals with fishing spots that are also full of garbage thrown by fishermen and farmers.
Then there are areas around the city where thousands of tons of garbage can be dumped
I was even stopped by the border police and checked in bags.
The garbage was thrown everywhere in the bushes and under the leaves, I gathered them and I made the arrangements from the pictures
Where the sun sets and there is a lot of smoke is my city
@JeroenM usually many from here come to fishing with a drink at them, after consuming the drink throw the packaging into the bushes, if drinking the water may be the situation otherwise
Very interesting article @To_paul my friend. And good Job you did. I feel sorry for the beautiful area full of thrown dump. I can imagine it without thrown rubbish ! It’s so beautiful land.
You are a real fisherman. I want to praise you. You’re doing fine. You collect garbage. I am against environmental pollution, but not a volunteer for cleaning after others. I don’t know, probably everyone should bear their own responsibility, and the state should be motivated or regulated. In any case, I always clean up after myself. I do not like to leave trash after me. You are well done. However, if I constantly went fishing in the same place or walked constantly in the park, sooner or later I began to clean up after the others. I would not be pleased to be in this place myself, since I often am there. Thanks for your post. Separately, I want to praise for the photos. Great job. I especially liked the reflection of the tree in the water. By the way, the joke about pink gloves is funny. Ha ha I laughed.)
there was no joke in everything I wrote @user_not_found there is the eastern border of the European Union, all day I was monitored with FLIR Systems by border guards, they have fixed and mobile patrol stations to fight smuggling and refugees to Europe, I can’t to go into details but I know better what is happening in the area.
I know that they also throw rubbish, if I tell them I saw a poacher, they start laughing because they have many informants there, and they let them fish industrially and illegally or cut a tree in exchange for some information given at a higher level.
You can see the shoes and the clothes of a border police officer in the picture.
He wanted me to undo the bags. I gave her beautiful pink gloves and told her to do it alone brought another policeman a flashlight to look in the bags
The border policeman asked me what I was doing with the phone.
I replied that I put the picture in my garbage bags
Not at his face
I behave harshly with them, but within the law.
He told me that all the fishermen threw the garbage
I said thank you
I left the GPS coordinates to the pictures, you can see the order and the chronology.
Thank you very much
As for the picture you liked @user_not_found I think I broke about three hours of ice to make that picture. I wanted that picture to represent our future, that is, given everything over our heads. I see you understood something.
thanks
Didn’t mean to offend. But the pink gloves and my English didn’t understand you. Did you give them the gloves so you wouldn’t have to go through the bags yourself? I understand You had a real search. Are they searching everyone? The photo is beautiful, looking forward to new photos.
The problem is quite serious, since we are small children the parents and the school teaches us to do correctly, but when we get older, some of us refuse to proceed correctly.
Why?
I don’t think I’ll ever find out.
Thank you very much and respectfully
my English is worse than your English. @user_not_found
I stayed from 10 until he was inserted, the police followed me from a distance all day long and they recorded me a video, they thought they were doing crimes. The only way was in front of them, they stopped asking for IDs and asked me what I had in my bags, I told them I had garbage and I gave them gloves to walk in the garbage that I walked all day in the garbage .
Only honest people are stopped, they try to intimidate us not to come over there
you did not offend anything, I was trying to explain, but how much English I know is a bit difficult.
Now I think you understand the story
If you do not understand I invite you to a fishing game there in the area
thank you very much
