Caravaggio in Naples Italy

Maybe the last painting of Caravaggio, when in 1610 the artist spent sometime in Naples. The opera is not the canonical representation, the moment is tragic and dramatic. Attila kills the young girl but in the same moment he regrets. The contrast is beautiful, the dark scene and she spends, white. In this painting we can see a Caravaggio selfportrait, the man behind Santa Orsola with his mouth open

Michelangelo is the name used here.

I have to check who was Caravaggio. Interesting information.

@GeorgeEPremkumar hi! Michelangelo Buinarroti is a famous sculptor, painter and architec, the most popular opera is Sistine chapel (capella Sistina)

Caravaggio (his first name was Michelangelo, very common name in Italy) is a famous painter

@AlexaAC thanks for the explaing since I’m new I was worried I broke some rules of this network. I love the art so I visit a lot of museums and when is possible I take pictures, I always ask for authorization and I respect the museums rules when required, infact the pictures are without flash.
