Whenever I used to see photos of Golden Gate Bridge on social media platforms, I always used to dream about taking a sunrise/sunset shot with San Francisco’s famous fog in the frame and skyline in the background. It was like a fairy tell dream.
I traveled to San Francisco in 2016 and I was so happy reaching SFO, but the day before going to shoot the Golden Gate bridge, I got the news that my daughter was not feeling well, so being a emotional father I cancelled m trip and took the next available flight. So my dream of Golden Gate Photo was incomplete.
In 2017 I again got a chance to go to USA, I somehow managed to go to San Francisco alone just to shoot that iconic dream shot.
I was not sure exactly which view would be perfect considering the fact that the bridge can be seen from so many spots, and I had just one day in pocket. I also was not sure sunrise would be better or sunset.
So I got the help of Google Local Guide for some details and luckily got some perfect details about the same from fellow Local Guides.
So luckily with determination to take my dream shot and with the help of Google Local Guide, I was successful in taking my dream shot just like the way I was dreaming for years.
From there onward, I have been giving back to the Local Guide community by adding photos and reviews of the places I travel as a travel and landscape photographer.
Local guide has brought the world really together and connected.
Best wishes to Local Guides!
