Capturing the moment in The Mall,UK
I’ve always admired 360 images and videos but I didn’t capture any because I have always thought you needed special gears and equipments to shoot 360 images and videos.
But due to my experience as a local guide I started exploring the google street view app. I found out that I can actually shoot one with just my phone camera.
I will never forget the first day I captured an image, it was at the back of our teachers quarters in the school I used to teach.
After panning round the field I waited inquisitively as the street view app magically stitched up the images together, then Voilà! I saw the spectacular view, it wasn’t just an image; it was an experience.
360 Image
Due to the dilapidated education system in Nigeria, students find it hard to learn because education is not done in real time. Instructions are usually based on what the teacher says and what students can read from textbooks.
With my Acquaintance as a local guide in terms of 360 image capturing. I started innovating better ways to incorporate my experience as a local guide into teaching.
As an agricultural science teacher I will go to places my students can’t access in the town, make some 360 images, come back to the class and with the aid of a visual reality glasses give my students a tour to aid them in learning.

It was one of the most enjoying activity we’ve ever done.
I never taught I could incorporate my experiences a google local guide into teaching.

My experience as a local guide has sparked up an interest in me to have a career in virtual reality and and 360 image production.
I recently took a course by google on VR and 360 video production.

Crazy right?
I want to help people on earth have virtual tours around the galaxies.
And I believe that will happen in no distant time.
