Cappucinos and amazing food

Hi! New to Local Guides Connect. I’m loving this feed though. I love seeing what everyone is sharing.

I, personally, like to review and share the places in DFW I find amazing food and cappuccinos. Yes. I am very specifically searching for the best cappuccinos in DFW. Since going to Italy with my husband for our 10 year anniversary, I have been obsessed. I want a true, Italian cappuccino. That means that all the places in my DFW Coffee Shops list that I’ve rated 5 stars have cappuccinos that are 6-8 ounces, taste amazing, have latte art, and great texture.

I also love trying new places to eat. We generally steer away from big chains. We prefer local spots or small chains that have kept quality. Farm to fork is a bonus. We love a good scratch kitchen that sources as locally as possible. We’ll try just about any cuisine so long as it looks good!

Lately, my husband and I have been obsessed with tasting menus. We did one for our 12th anniversary in December at Tei-An in Dallas, Then I did a Bordeaux wine pairing at The Ranch in Las Colinas with a friend in February. Both were amazing, and we are on the search for more. I’ve even created a new list to keep track of all the ones we want to try: DFW tasting menus.

I hope that the reviews I post and photos I share help others make decisions on where to eat. I know I absolutely rely on reviews and pictures when I’m deciding where to go!
