Fetu Afahye is the festival name and celebrated by the chiefs and peoples of Cape Coast in the Central region of Ghana. The festival actually celebrated on the first Saturday, but cultural activities / programmes like The custodians of the “Fosu” Lagoon (Amissafo) of Oguaa Traditional Area also pour libation at the estuary of the Lagoon to invoke spirit of their ancestors to eradicate any bad omen that may befall visitors involved in the festival etc. The hole town turns to be very busy with a hole of activities and as well welcomed tourists / guest all over the globe.
