Hi everyone, I’m back after some months. And I see a lot of changes, I feel like I’m lost in here 
I also don’t know how to write a review on Google Maps, I updated the app, tried to do everything but when I want to add a review/rating, it just says Maps can’t publish. May someone help me how to fix it? or maybe reviewing/rating function is no longer available?

I looked at 10 random placed in Baku and none of them had reviews. So I’m guessing that Google Maps was asked to disable adding reviews. Or the ban could be related to fighting spammers.

As my friend @MortenCopenhagen told this is a general restriction for the area. Google currently disabled adding new reviews for places in Azerbaijan and Armenia. This is because of the challenges between two governments. We hope all things get back to the normal status as soon as possible.

I can confirm this happening to me on several occasions, and after paying close attention when attempting to recreate this issue, I have noted that the message appears every time I write a very very long review and also when I upload too many photos, typically 20+ photos for a place.
When I avoid this, the message does not appear.
Also agree with @MortenCopenhagen - I almost invariably get this message when a PoI has been disabled for adding reviews and I have identified such places in my area that have already millions of reviews but more cannot be added.

@Amiran Thank you very much! I didn’t actually know this, now I realize the reason for the issues I’m having. Hope this restriction will lift up very soon, though it is better to keep google maps clean and peaceful during such wars!

@MortenCopenhagen Thank you, man! First I thought Google disabled reviewing and rating globally for some reasons, but then I couldn’t find any new news, notifications and posts about it, and so I had to ask it here, thank you all for answering to me

@TusharSuradkar tnak you too, man. Actually I haven’t uploaded more than 20 pictures and a long review at the same time, it hasn’t happened to me yet but I tried many ways to add a rating, still no way. The message just kept appearing. Now I got the reason I think, thank you again
