Can't upload photos to Google maps

Hi guys, I’m a wheelchair user and enthusiastic amateur photographer, currently a local guide at mid-level 8. Primarily my contributions are photos that I take and I also share with a large group of friends. I recently found that smaller and smaller numbers of photos were accepted before I received a message about “server error, try again later”. Perhaps coincidentally, a Google photos link I shared to a large group of friends was repeatedly bounced over several days as being probable SPAM. This is NOT SPAM and anyone following the shared link would find, largely geotagged, photos of my travels over the last decade. Can you please tell me how to remove this apparent flagging on my photographs? Thank you!

Hi @PTBperegrine ,

Welcome to Connect.

Please note that photos that do not adhere to Maps User Contributed Content Policy will be made private and are only visible to you - view counts for these photos do not count towards the view counts reflected on your Expert Photographer (Impact) badge. Please see our program rules.

I also recommend you to check this post Some uploaded pictures not showing on maps for more information.

In addition, since you’re new to the community, you might want to share a bit about yourself and get to know others in our monthly Introduce Yourself topic. You can also read these Tips: Using Local Guides Connect.
