Can't get followers on Google Maps as Level 10 Local Guide. Why?

I just realize I am unable to get followers on Google maps. I thought the feature has been rolled out globally to everyone.

It says “Only select profile can be followed”. As a level 10 local guide with lots of contributions, I wonder why I still can’t get followed?

How do I enable the feature, so I can get followers on Google Maps?

Hi @TerenceC

Don’t take it personally. Even some Connect Moderators are also not follow-able. It is currently being rolled out. Please he patience.

In addition to @MortenCopenhagen 's reply, please make sure your account to be not restricted when this feature rolls out for you.You may start with visiting your Google Maps profile to enable Following.
