Can't find the Approved Location - instead it takes to a service inside the place

I added “Darul Ummah Centre” and got the Approved email. (When I try searching or click on the link - it takes me to the “Darul Ummah Jame Masjid”

Darul Ummah Centre is the Community Centre which hosts Darul Ummah Jame Masjid and Jamiatul Ummah School, Darul Ummah Saturday School and other services.

The map may have understood Darul Ummah Centre as same as Darul Ummah Jame Masjid but that’s not correct. Darul Ummah Jame Masjid is one of the services at this centre.

How can I resolve this? Thanks in advance!

The link is to the existing place and not to a copy of your email. Please share the text + the link to the new place in the email.

Also, please let us know how recently you made the addition.

What is the subject of the email?

Maybe you need to wait a bit longer or maybe the system or another LG merged the POIs.

Did you add any photos while making the addition? If so, what Poi does it belong to now?

27 October (2 days ago) is mentioned in the email.

See the subject line he shared. It is an addition. The wording is just a bit confusing (has always been) in the text body.

It could be a simple delay, but not super likely.

Thanks for pointing out the details from the email. However, the date October 27 only tells us when the place was added by the Local Guide but not when it was published on the map. If @WonderingLondoner received the email about the published place today, it may still take some time for the place to actually appear on Maps (just like it says in the email).

My advice would be to give it some technical time for the changes to be reflected. If the place doesn’t appear in the next few days, please let us know here, @WonderingLondoner .

Thanks so much for sharing a screenshot of your email! I saw that you received it on October 27, but I had to remove the image as it contained your personal email address. We value everyone’s privacy here and we don’t encourage Local Guides to share theirs or someone else’s private information publicly.

As I said, please allow a few more days for the place to appear on Maps. If it still hasn’t appeared by the beginning of next week, please tag me in this topic again. Thanks a lot!
