Hello guys, couple of days ago I posted a picture with a description educating us on how we can protect our younger siblings or the little brethrens we all have in the local stories.
I did this with a regard to how our little siblings’ immune system can be prone or vulnerable to the Covid-19 virus. And also, since they are just kids is good we protect ourselves to protect them. Tom surprise, I couldn’t find or locate that particular post in my profile. Not even on a dashboard, in my archive or draft.
So kindly share with me what could be the cause of this.
The automatic spam filters must have quarantined your post & made off-topic.
In local stories, the usual themes are Art & Culture, information on Special Local Events or description of some prominent local attractions.
Thus, anything we write on the pandemic may become as off-topic.
Further, when a post contains copied, i.e. plagiarized material, then also the spam filters become effective. If that is not the case, you can tag a moderator to release your post from the quarantine.
Also, when the automation captures something, we never get any notification. I experienced the same in the previous week when I wrote something related to the pandemic. However, I am not keen to revive that article & thus did not make any attempt.
Sorry your post has disappeared. Please may I ask, have you got any warning from the moderators to edit or delete your post? If No,perhaps the connect quarantine filter has sucked in your post, therefore you may tag a moderator to get this sorted out @Bobiisha .
Spam filters are sensitive and running 24/7 and sometimes a good post can be caught by the filter.
Connect is a place to get to know other Local Guides, plan activities, share your stories, give feedback and more. We ask that posts on Connect stay on-topic. What are Connect topics? will help you to understand what are the topics of the community.
We are all very impacted by the pandemic, so some post related to the Covid-19, especially for the part impacting our Local Guide activity, has been tollerate, but this is not a “generalist” community. We post contents related to Local Guides.
Please note that, when a post is moved “off Topic”, a Google Moderator will always let you know, by tagging you in the post. Please check your email to read the notification
Thanks for reaching out to us and @SholaIB , thanks for the tag!
Your post was sent to the off-topic archive, as it doesn’t fit in any of our topics. In order to avoid this, I recommend that you get familiar with our main topics on this link and make sure to comply with them. Some of them are Travel, Photography, Food & Drink and others.
I’ve noticed that your publication is regarding the current situation, so I suggest that you take part in this thread if you’d like to discuss it. Also please note that a moderator will also let you know when something has happened to your post.
Of course you are welcome to stay, posting contents related to the program. What are Connect topics? will help you to understand what are the topics of the community.
