Cant delete or edit Location that is wrong

Hello, I cant delete a specific location on maps in my local city.

This picture indicates that, the pinned place is a stadium where the swimming pool is located.

Seems, Kneippschwimmbad is a stadium where the swimming pool is located.

Moreover, you can’t delete or modify all places.

Do let me know, What is the issue with this ?

How to and what declares a stadium?

I am kinda cleaning my city and moving things to their right places since (I think) someone moved some places to their wrong coordinates. I want to be a good Local Guide of course :slightly_smiling_face:

As per my knowledge, you can’t change the same as the information on the map appears to be correct.

The location “Kneippschwimmbad” is uneditable & arises from the original map layer @EdwinT95
I find the description and the pin location to be correct since the place is an outdoor swimming pool cum bath.
However, since nobody could post any reviews, it appears that users have created another POI “Kneippbad” and placed the marker near the entrance. The description is also incorrect as the “Schwimmen” aspect doesn’t reflect in that.
In my opinion, it would be appropriate to shift the pointer of “Kneipbad” to fall on to the “Kneippschwimmbad” and merge both the places.

Local guides are not allowed to edit each and every place on Google Maps. You might find this link useful.

In these cases, all we can do is to give feedback. The steps needed to give feedback are described here.

Unfortunately, the places that can not be edited by the public are not clearly marked. But checking if the Suggest an edit option is there is normally a good indicator. Also, uploading of photos and reviews can be disabled.
