Can't access local guide settings page

I was notified by an email from google about my status as a local guide, and it said that I could learn more and adjust my settings on the local guides settings page. I’ve been trying to access the page through this link

https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings

and the page does not load. it just buffers.

Any ideas on how to fix? I just wanted to check my email preferences and see what perks are available for local guides. I only recently learned that there are perks available with local guide levels, but I never received any emails about this.

@localanon12 That is the correct link to the settings page. Connect seems to be a little slow today possibly because of higher traffic. Try again shortly or the next day.

I’ve been trying for a couple of weeks now, and it seems like this has persisted. Just wanted to see if this was a site-wide issue or specific to my account.

Tried again today, the page turns out blank for me. Is this an issue connected to my account?
