Cannot review Mt. Rushmore National Monument

Hi there!

I’ve recently visit Mt. Rushmore and was going to leave a review + some photos, but it was not possible neither via iOS app nor via web browser. It won’t let me even select the review tab or show any stars to begin the review - only venue information is shown.

Does everyone else have the same issue? Would someone please help?

Hi @AlexBRu , this is very possible.

As you can see, Mount Rushmore National Memorial have 30.104 reviews, and no one is visible.

This happen because Google can lock a Place Of Interest, to prevent abuse…

Hi @AlexBRu

With more than 30.000 reviews and more that 160.000 photos uploaded we can conclude that adding reviews and photos were not always blocked.

My guess is that adding reviews (and photos) has been temporarily suspended. This could be an effort to block spammers.

I suggest you check back soon again. Only 2 hours ago photos were added.
