Candi Gebang

Candi Gebang is a Hindu temple, located at Gebang Hamlet, Wedomartani Village, Ngemplak district, Sleman regency, Jogjakarta province, Indonesia.

This temple is a unique temple, there is no staircase to go inside the temple and there no room either.

Found in November 1936 and been reconstruction for couple of years.

Consider a small and quiet temple campare with Borobudur or Prambanan temple.

Very rare visitor to come and visit this temple.

I recommend that if you want to do small walk and do some reflection for your mind, please visit this temple.

The air is fresh and surround with big tree and paddy fields.

Next to this temple area is a Football stadium, so better you look at the agenda of the football match at this football stadium because the hysterical screaming of football enthusiast can be heard from Gebang temple.

Operating drone in this area is prohibited.

Wonderful place! By the way, I’ve enlarged your photos to make them appear better. The temple looks really interesting and the park around it as well.

Do you often go there? I think all old temples are incredible and have so much details carved on them it’s interesting to observe.

This Candi Gebang is an old temple, I am not too often visiting this temple.

This temple is around five hundre miles from my hometown,

I visit on the way to my business trip.
