Congratulations on hosting your first meet-up! I wish you success with this one and for the following events, you will organize with the Local Guides in your area! I’m sure your photos will be great, so please create a recap after the event and share with us your impressions and photos.

We can organize one later in the year as seems like not a lot of people are available now.

Sorry to hear that your Meet-Up didn’t come to fruition. I would be interested in attending or hosting a Meet-Up and was wondering if you were still interested in making that happen. The weather has been getting nicer as spring is approaching and I was thinking that a photo walk would be something nice to do. Let me know if this is something that interests you!

Dear heavens! I am over half a decade late to see this which was unfortunate because I was still an active Google Maps guide at that time. Then again I was swamped that year (Island Health employee) and very irritable from too many people thinking hammering pots & pans were a way of thanking healthcare workers (not this single parent breadwinner; I just want to take a power nap while my daughters are doing their homework after cooking dinner when… you get the drift)
Any talks about organizing one in 2025? If you are, I’d more than happy to check it out so as long as it’s either in the evenings or weekends since I work M-F 8-4 & couldn’t attend otherwise.
