All my entire life I wanted to travel, so do I last 4 years. The last 4 trips were to Switzerland, my big love, the country of lakes and mountains, so I chose new lakes using Google maps only because I really trust local guides.
When looking for new places, I focus on the photos first, and then I read the reviews, so I’ve found my favorite place, Klöntalersee**,** a natural lake in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland. That’s an alpine lake hidden between the 2 huge mountains, it has been used as a reservoir for electricity production and seems to be a quiet secret place. When you drive on a narrow path you see a small waterfall, you see a mountain covered with show, such an amazing feeling of divine nature.
When I return home, to my native city of Nikolayev in the south of Ukraine, I, as an organizer of business networking for women, share my impressions and tell the girls how they can make budget travels around Europe. I believe that women should become more self-confident and able to travel independently, be socially equal, they should not only sit at home and dream, in this way the Local Guides program can help them a lot. I know the facts that girls listen to advice, see photos on Instagram, Facebook, get inspired and start do it.
How I help ladies to use the Local Guides program:
- I help them to choose a country, make first steps to see a dream destination using Google Maps;
- As a macro-influencer on Instagram I post a useful articles about places I visited with Geo location;
- Every month I organize events for women such as business breakfasts where we share business ideas and information about places we are going to visit and inspire each other to make plans.
- We use all the chanels to stay together: Instagram, Gmail, Facebook, Telegram.
I’m also planning to expand our network and make a city break to Krakow, Budapest for Ukrainian business women, so that they begin to connect with each other in new countries using Google Maps the Local Guides program.
You think women travel plans are different from men’s ones?
