Can not add street name in Myanmar

Hi Guys,

I am AungMyoThan from KyaukLoneGyi and I am LG Level 6. I try to add some street name which is does’t in Google Maps but i can’t. Any restriction or limitation for Myanmar LGS. Thanks

Please Tell me some ways.

No, there are no restrictions in your country for adding / editing road.

However you cannot add or edit a name using Road Mapper. To perform this operation you should use Google Maps, and follow the steps mentioned in Add or fix a road in Google Maps . You can do this both on mobile and on desktop.

However the name of a Road is quite difficult to be approved, if there is no evidence that Google can use (e.g. the road name visible in Google Street View).

For this reason the best way for the name of a road to be fixed is to contact the Google Maps Help Community and to write a post in there, explaining the issue and attaching the link to an official (governative) map public accessible online.

If your post is not about the Road Mapper Program (a program by invitation only to add roads in selected areas) please let us know, so I can ask @MashaPS to move your post in a more appropriate part of the community
