I’d like to write reviews about places I went, in blogs, sites, etc. I’d like to write mostly about cafes, restaurants, bars or clubs. I do that already in Google Maps, but I’d like to get paid of it. I have like 600+ reviews so far, and more than 300 of them are more than 200 characters long, and I believe many of them also surpass the 1000 characters.
If someone is from Greece to inform me, it would be better.
Get paid for writing reviews and be a local guide are two incompatible activities, @NiStefan , and against the program rules
Local Guides is a volunteer program, and we can be impartial as we are not paid.
You are of course free to start your own blog, and to write about food, but this should be kept separate from your local guide activity

With contributions, we earn virtual badges in the Google Maps app. You can view your badges by going to Google Maps, menu, Your Contributions.
Regarding gifts, Local Guides is a program with no financial reward. However, once a while, there could be small perks provided to help motivate contributors. Sometimes perks could be announced in LG Connect, so stay active here. And sometimes announced through email.

I think you misunderstood my question. I was saying, to get paid OUTSIDE of Local Guides.
Being paid outside of Local Guides to do Local Guide activities such as reviews and photos is against the rules @NiStefan . We all have to be careful to stay within the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions.
