I have a question regarding the guidelines for signatures on Local Guides Connect. I have a YouTube channel where I share virtual tours of cities,Places and businesses. The content is purely informative and non-commercial — Channel in not monetized.
Can I include the link to this YouTube channel in my signature along with an icon?
The intention is to showcase examples of my contributions related to local exploration and virtual tours that may also help others.
I understand we must follow the community guidelines strictly, and I haven’t seen many people adding such links — so I wanted to clarify before doing anything.

According to me, as your Channel is not monetized and the contents are related to personal travel information, you can use an icon and a Link to your YouTube channel.
However, let us wait to hear the final decision by our authorities; as you are aware, our Google Moderators are not available on Saturdays and Sundays, we may have to wait till Monday…
Hi @Gvipin in my opinion, since YouTube is also one of Google’s products, so we can include it in our signature here on Connect. Even some Local Guides also list their social media accounts from other platforms that are not Google products, and it seems that this is fine, as long as it leads to their personal accounts and does not lead to prohibited information
but I agree to wait for the official explanation from Googler, and I am ready to follow it!
Congratulations at getting near your Level 10. Please can I offer some advice? I took a look at your recent uploads and see a lot of duplication in your submissions. It would be pretty awful to be shadow banned at this stage. I would suggest that you should go back through your uploads and delete those images that are not significantly different.

Thanks for your guidance, sometimes angle of pictures are same but taken in different environment. Some times pictures looks same but taken from different angle. l will review my uploads again and do the needful whenever required .

I wanted to confirm that it is OK to share a link to your personal YouTube channel in your signature. What we don’t encourage is actively promoting your channel in your posts on Connect, asking people to subscribe, or redirecting to your videos for the sake of getting more engagement. This goes against our Community guidelines and may result in your content being removed.
