Can I change the title of my post on local stories after i submitted my application?

Hello, dear friends!

Please let me know if I can change the title of my post on local stories after i submitted my application for Live Connect 2020. I did a mistake, the title was supposed to be “What does the Local Guides program mean to me” and I wrote something else, the first proposition of my story.

Thank you!

No problem, @LiliSol

feel free to edit your title. The link will work in any case.

Btw, what Google wants to read is the post, not the title

Thank you, good point!

I want to add a note @LiliSol .

The request is to choose a topic, but not necessarily to use it on the title.

The title of my post is A Matter of Love - My long journey as a Local Guide

I also thougt I made the same mistake, but then I went back to the rules, you can use any title as long as you answer one of the prompts. Mine, for example isBeing A Local Guide: My Newfound Lifestyle. Good Luck!!!

Hi @AshokPatel thank you for reaching out.

You can edit your post on Local Stories, but your edit can only work for you if the team has not checked your application yet, but if they have checked it already, it wont help you as they would have already went trough it, meaning that if you made some mistakes or provided few points, or you had a missing important information that could have either given you a lift up or opposite of that, it may be already too late, but for the sake of the public reading your post you can edit it. The edit option is still there, the application form you submitted can not be accessed for an edit and you can not change any links from your list or application video.

I hope this answer your question, if not, let me know. Thank you.

Hi @LiliSol ,

Thanks for reaching out.

I see your question was already answered.

I just wanted to let you know that I will edit the heading of your post to an easier recognizable one. This way when having the same question other Local Guides will be able to find the solution easier.
