Previous attempts of addition were not not successful.
Tried sending message to Maps team through ‘feedback’ section but that didn’t work; dropping them an email didn’t help either! The Maps team responded with a message to "try troubleshooting the issue on maps forum or posting about it on LG Connect…"
I am therefore making this post (as suggested by Maps team, and seeing this as last resort) to know if anyone of you - Local Guides in Sindhuli, or those who happen to know this place / have engaged with this office - help with getting this place verified?
The office is PMAMP PIU Office - Junar Super Zone.
Location: Khaniyakharkha Bus Stop, nearby Bishnu hotel.
P.S. I have already read the post on “…pending and not approved additions…” - the post mentions that fellow LGs might be of help in confirming the existence of place (which the maps team is unable to verify).
Had already submitted all the necessary details/information required for publishing the addition!
That post is explaining you why, if Google Maps do not have enough information, an edit will remain in Pending status will be rejected.
It is correct that other Local Guides can help in approval a place. This is made through the “Fact Checking” procedure, it means that other Local Guide in the area are invited to confirm/deny your edit.
This, per program rules, can be done only by Local Guides that have a personal knowledge of the place, so it is useless, and against the rules, to ask for help of Local Guides that are not in the area.
I had submitted all required (and correct) information while adding the place, that Maps asks for an addition.
And thanks for mentioning about the policy-violation condition, I only intended to:
Know if there is any other way, besides ones already tried,
Bring it to the attention of Local Guides from Nepal - more specifically from Sindhuli (if any), or ones who had engaged with/known about the PMAMP office (as it’s a major government project office there).
What makes me wonder is the fact that the place already already has 93 views (usually the additions get verified/rejected by the time it gains 5-10 views), however it still has not been published/verified; similar has been the case with some of my other additions too…
Will trying to make a fresh addition of the place cause any problem - besides the possibility of duplication of places (that too only if, both -the pending, and the new additions- get approved)?
Regarding the inquiries, as @ermest has kindly provided information, it would be taking a bit more time indeed to have the information to be checked for verification.
