The rates are normal and not exorbitant contrary to my expectations since I thought camel milk must be a rare commodity.
But surprisingly, the camel is a common animal in Bikaner and most part of western Rajasthan.
It is used as a beast of burden and tied to a cart and also used in farming.
Inside the camel research institute mentioned above, they are also researched and newer better breeds are produced with continuous efforts resulting in milk products that are affordable and taste great.
Hello @TusharSuradkar thanks for sharing. I know camel milk will taste different from cow milk. Good to know camel milk is more tasty. As someone who like to try everything out. I will also want to have experience of drinking camel milk.
ItтАЩs funny how to me adding cowтАЩs milk into coffee is just a normal thing you do, no big deal, but when I think of CamelтАЩs milk, my mind says NO! We are definitely creatures of habit @TusharSuradkar !
Camel milk ! I havenтАЩt taste yet but I want to taste one day.
I love Coffee rather than Tea and I enjoy the evening time with Coffee (cow milk) and I wish to enjoy with Comel mik coffee. But, I donтАЩt know, will it be possible?
Camel milk was common in Rajasthan until Camels were in extensive use like farming, camel-carts, and so on but since other modes of transport came in camel lost the importance and hence their milk availability has decreased.
@abhishekpatk Currently, BikanerтАЩs Camel Research center is the only popularly known place where camel milk and products are avaiable.
Looking at the dress of the people in the video, the collection seems to be happening in Kathiawad in Gujarat and not in Rajasthan as most people would believe.
Also a little query, does Ahmedabad not come under the Kathiawad region?
