Dear Local Guides,
I am a local guide from Switzerland and I like to share pictures of Swiss mountains. Like that one from Disentis (Caischavedra), Switzerland.
Disentis is a village in the Swiss Alps (canton Graubünden). It is famous for:
-
Ski slopes (during winter time)
-
Hiking trails (during summer and autumn)
-
The abbey
To get to the place where I took the picture: use the mountain cable car (gondola) form Disentis to Caischavedra, then take the hiking trail down towards the little village called Segnas and you will pass a playground (there I took that picture).
Caischavedra is great for families with kids in summer and autumn:
-
Playgrounds
-
Fireplaces (where you also find wood for start the fire by yourself)
-
Treasure hunt (fun for kids <10 years)
Bye,
Reto
