Butter Tea: Made by churning tea, salt and yak butter.
This is one tasty tea. I was little skeptical to try it though. But one sip and I couldn’t stop. Had to go for another bowl of warm tea.
During my Leh Ladak trip had the pleasure of trying this. It won’t be found on any streets or resturants as far as I know. We had planned a dinner at local place to try the authentic Leh food. Fortunate enough found a family who would serve us dinner at a price. Price which was worth it. We saw the grandmother churn the tea right infront of us using old traditional way. It’s was delicious.

@Ant_Bad_Yogi Oh should definitely try it. Me and my friends were little skeptical what to expect. But it was so tasty. A must try. Though you won’t get on streets or regular restaurants, need to find some local residents who organised paid meals for tourists.

@Nyainurjanah hehehe. This tea help you to warm up in the cold because of the butter. So you cannot stop at one cup at all. It was a regular kind of cup.
