I posted an honest review and don’t use my real name because it is unique, easily googleable and I have a dangerous ex and a protection order I don’t want knowing where I live. The business responded snaekily by posting my personal info. I called asked them to remove the name. They threatened me with legal action unless I removed the review and have scared the family because of how loud the guy was screaming. I didn’t realize being a local guide could open me to retaliation…there’s nowhere to report this and get my name off of that. It’s on google maps and shows my location

Hi @Crikety it is unfortunate you’ve had this experience. Can you provide a link to the review in question as I cannot see it on your profile?
You can remove your own personal information by simply deleting your review and the response from the business will go with it.
You can report improper behaviour by the business owner via Google My Business at https://business.google.com

I am really sorry to hear you’ve had such unpleasant experience. We recommend that you contact your local authorities so they can properly investigate. In addition to that I suggest that you take @PaulPavlinovich 's advice and report the business owner through GMB. You can also create a request here, as Google takes such inappropriate content very seriously and you can provide more information so the respective team can look into it.
P.S.: With the above said, I will accept my comment as a solution so if someone else has a similar query and is not sure on how to proceed, the information can be found easy. I will also move your post to our How-tos board, where Local Guides ask questions and express their doubts.
