I wrote a review for a business describing a horrible experience I had and the business deleted it. My review did not contain any profanities nor violate the Google review’s policy. I tried to repost it, but I am not able to repost. Is there a way to appeal the deletion of the review/how do I flag the business for deleting appropriate reviews?
Hi, @Kourtney
So sorry for what was happened to your review.
According to this Solution (https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/Review-deleted-then-quot-can-t-connect-quot-to-business/m-p/1194190/highlight/true#M237333 ), “…u**sually the businesses cannot remove your reviews, however the business owner can report to Google reviews that they consider inappropriate. Please check out again if your review is in violation of these policies.”
And check if your review is visible in Incognito mode.
And according to this article in Google My Business Help (https://support.google.com/business/answer/4596773?hl=en&ref_topic=6109360 ), the business owner can only flagging/reporting your review. It’s Google that remove the review after check it.
So, in my opinion, just move on. Make another review on another place. No need to care much about past review we’ve shared.
