Bungy Swing & Jumping@ Queenstown NZ

Hi ALL,

Situation all over the world is bad and dangerous too a/c Corona viruses. We are all locked down till 3rd May in India. I advise, stay at home and safe.

In this time of inactivity,I feel like sharing with you my unique experience of Bungy Jumping & Swing @ Queenstown Newzealand .

I visited Newzealand Last year with my daughter and son in law

and enjoyed the trip very much as a hole. We did Bungy Jumping as well as swing also at Queenstown only but at different locations.

If you are healthy, as normal as anyone and need not be a super human and want to overcome a fear, do both- the jumping and Swing as well.

1) Jumping.

If you are doing it for the first time, select Location- Ledge ( and may not go for kavarau or Nevis) as it is bit easy( though requires courage) and is in the city itself. Book it online and go to the cable car point which will bring you up at the spot and that travel in a cable car will give you an opportunity to have a bird view of the whole city. Reach at the top and you will have an option for light snacks but only after a jump.

During Jumping, they will not push you and you have to jump of your own from a platform and that free fall of couple of hundred metres will take you to a different world. Please don’t close your eyes while you perform the jump and enjoy the valley beneth during free fall. If you select the other place for jumping, it takes you to the water level of the rever and your part of the body goes inside the water and then you are received by a boat, sailing in the river specially for the purpose but at Ledge you are taken up to the platform again with the rope and gives you enough time to have a look at the beautiful city.

2) Swing-

Book it online and reach at the pickup point in the city itself and a coach will take you to Nevis location where you can not reach by any other vehicle. Will take about 45 minutes to reach there. Here a couple can or any two persons can do it together. Swing will have initial free fall for some seconds and then the swing will take you to the other end and you will be in air for for more than a couple of minutes. Once you are steady, you will be taken up on the platform… will have an opportunity to have a look at tiny rever below and the valley and the mountains and you are hanging inbetween…

I strongly recommend to do both…

If you decide otherwise, you must have a strong health reasons only.

just waiting for unlocking father and daughter to have a biggest swing of Life.

You are brave!! @TriDev

Hi

@OliverKIWI ,

It requires real courage to jump from the platform hanging on the valley. That free fall almost takes away your life.

I want to tell you one more thing. I don’t have any fear of height. I can walk easily on parapet of second floor. Zero Acrophobia.

Anyways, swing is more difficult.
