Buland Darwaza, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, India

Buland Darwaza, a biggest Gate in India was built by Mughal emperor Akbar after the victory over largest part in Gujrat. He blessed with a baby boy known as Salim in the village Sikri. Sources says that the birth of Salim is blessed by Akbar’s Guru Sheikh Salim Chisti

Jodhabai’s fort: it was built for Hindu Rajputani queen Jodhabai by the Mughal Emperor Akbar which is also very beautiful and strong structure

Diwane Khas: it was built by the Mughal Emperor to discuss the serious issues with his Navratan, very beautiful and strong structure

Fatehpur Sikri Fort is situated on the highway from Agra to Bharatpur. It is 41 kms. away from Taj Mahal, Agra. You can reach here by train and roads easily from all parts of the country. You can stay here in Hotel Gulistan Tourist Complex and Guest Houses nearby this fort. Nan Khatai is famous sweets of this historical city.

This place seems to be less crowded so you are very fortunate to have a peaceful view of the palace.

I will definitely try NanKhatai the next time :+1:
