When I started using Google maps it really made a difference in my day-to-day life. As an international cooperation volunteer, I’ve been in countries like Burkina Faso where it’s not so easy to find an address or asking for a pharmacy, but moreover traveling around the world can often be a challenge if there is no one to trust.
To walk new paths means also leaving your footprints. To travel a lot can be exhausting too and we can miss the security home gives us, that’s why I am always looking for useful information about where to find stores that somehow will make you feel more like home. Whether it’s a coffee shop or a library, I like to share my feelings of the customer service. I kind of like to market what I liked the most to help the business grow. I think it’s important to encourage those who care about giving out the best of them. Also, I rely a lot on Google maps and that’s because I trust the information that local guides share.
