I am in Vietnam and love eating pho. Recently, I have noticed when I try to find pho stores on google map, it only shows the “home” I have bookmarked as home on google map. I have double checked with my friend and she has the same issue. It is a big problem because now I can not look for good pho places around me… Please fix this bug!

Please try to update your Google Maps app and follow these steps to clear the app’s cache. If you’re using a browser, please clear your browser cache and cookies and try searching again. Let me know if this helps.

It is normal for me when I type “pho” or “phở”. Many suggestions are there still…^^
You can name some brand name or the location of Pho then the list will be showed.
Example you type “Pho 24” or “Pho district 1”

I use iphone and my google map app and iphone OS are all up to date. What else can I do to fix this issue? @DeniGu
I tried many words like “cafe”, “restaurants”, “bar”, “Bun Bo”, “Com Ga”, and everything works fine.
When I type “pho”, it does not work as you can see in the GIF. @DeniGu

I thought in your favorite list or your home, there is some place with “Phố” (or someone edit it becomes “phố”).
I recommend you delete some places (in your list or anywhere you saved) mention “phố”, then “phở” (noodles mean “pho” as you like) will come back as normal!

The search option working perfectly. If you search for Pho restaurant instead of only Pho word you will get the desired result. Please try it and let me know.

@NareshDarji hi, i was thinking this should be still fixed. It is strange that only “Pho” needs to put “restaurant” to be able to search out of all the food options.
I dont think many people type “ramen restaurant” when they are looking for ramen, or “dim sum restaurant” when they are looking for dim sum.
There are other typical vietnamese local food in Vietnam like “Bun Bo” or “Com Tam”, which I do not think anyone put “Bun Bo restaurant” or “Com Tam restaurant” when they are looking for them, but they still show without adding the word “restaurant”.
If you are looking for Vietnamese food, then searching for “Vietnamese restaurant” makes sense though.
It happen to me too. Type “pho” it route to home.
