Brunching in DC

Brunching has become such a popular form of outing and I am here to provide you with one of the best brunch spots in DC! Many may not be aware but brunching actually started in DC a few years ago. When I first moved to DC I was not too familiar with it; but it easily became one of my favorite things to do, especially in summer. I mean, how can you not like brunching?! You get to enjoy some food, get tipsy and maybe even a day party all before your bedtime. Some places combine brunch and their party, others just brunch.

Here’s a list of brunch spots with day parties:

Just brunch:

  • Madhatter (DJ plays music during brunch)

  • Halfsmoke

  • Brick Lane

  • Busboys and Poets

  • Hawthorne

-Shaw’s Tavern

  • Masa 14 (Latin)

  • B Too

  • Milk and Honey

Most of the place listed average from $25-30 and $14-16 to add mimosas!

I personally never tried brunch, because it’s not so popular in my country but the way you told us about it, made me curious to try it.
