Bringing Some Aloha to Maps

I started contributing to Google Maps for the free stuff. I wanted Drive storage but after I acquired this perk, I continued contributing because my pictures and written reviews were helping people enhance their experiences. I still remember the feeling when I received my first “like” on a review. It felt really good knowing I helped someone make a choice or influence their opinion on something they wanted to do.

10 months ago, I moved to Hawaii and realized a lot of the unique experiences were poorly reviewed, undocumented, or they were not specific. So, I decided to fill in some of the gaps. Here are some of my favorite contributions. I hope they inspire people to come to this great state.

Swim with sea turtles at Electric Beach and Fort DeRussy

Stargaze at Mokulēʻia

Dive with sharks

Hike Pololū Valley

See a volcano light up the night sky and not die while doing it.

Watch a rainbow and relax at Magic Island

I’m out on Oahu as well. Been here for a year and attempt to review everywhere I go. Doesn’t matter the state, place, or the type of review, good or bad. Glad to see someone else shares the passion of letting others know the truth behind these places.
