Caption: This photo of Sajek Valley is my 7th most viewed photo on Google Maps

Sajek Valley is one of the top tourist destinations in Bangladesh. There was a POI in Google Maps of ‘Sajek Valley’ as a tourist attraction. But this place was removed from the Maps last week (I guess because I have seen it about a week ago). Last week I have had suggested an edit to the listing. I remove the website which was spam. And the link was placed by the spammer to generate leads. They had also claimed the listing. So I guess maybe a Googler reviewed the edit and as they found the spammer had claimed it so he might have deleted the entire listing.

So I want you to review it and bring the Sajek Valley on the Maps again if possible. I along with other travelers and users of Google Maps are waiting for you to take action.

Question, @SaifIS : If it’s only a POI, why don’t you add a new one yourself? By then, you and other Local Guides could reviewed it after the old POI has removed? Or was there any other reasons?

Sajek Valley is one of the most important tourism places for Bangladesh. If for some reason the POI is deleted, it must be returned to the map.

@DeniGu Yes. This is a valley. So if the pin location is anywhere near the one you mentioned would be ok. Also if you can merge the current one that would be great.

I’m happy to share that the original listing of Sajek Valley is now live on Maps again! The location that @AbdullahAM shared was merged to it, so all the contributions appear together in one place now. :blush:
