Yes, the first floor is very reminiscent of Venetian architecture, then by observing better there is a reference to other architectural styles!
A curiosity: what does the “Above the sky” sculpture represent? In my view, two wrestlers seem to me …

Hi…I just found out…

This is a stainless steel sculpture by the artist Ren Zhe from Beijing. Just below the two figures you can see the base which is supposed to be clouds –the man is floating above the clouds……hence the caption: Above the Clouds.

Better the skyscraper than Venetian, are You convinced? It is a mix of more styles, Venetian as the first floor, Renascimental at the second floor, the window are the same as Saint Peter’s Place in Rome, the windows of Pope! The fronton are reproduction of ancient romans edifices.

@plavarda the architecture is amazing, have you been there? It’s one of the reasons I would really like to go, because it’s so different from Europe for example.

Cara @DanniS , forse potrei andarci per vedere l’architettura moderna, oppure quella tradizionale ma non di certo per vedere l’imitazione di Venezia o di Roma. Pensi che avrebbe senso una Grande Muraglia Cinese a Venezia? Io ho la fortuna di abitare vicino a Venezia e anche molti palazzi della mia città sono veneziani originali. I 20.000 km in aereo li farei per vedere la Grande Muraglia, i templi, i monti dell’arcobaleno!!! Ciao!!
