If you love nature and sights of magnificent mountains then you may want to consider Montserrat. Montserrat is a gigantic mountain situated in the Catalonia region in Spain.
I could not get enough of the breath taking sight from the peak of this mountain. You can either hike your way up or take a lift across it.
It is very famous and usually rather busy during summer. I was here in the month of August 2019 which was not super hot and besides, the trail up the mountain is amidst several shades that gives protection from direct sunlight.
There is a huge popular church at the very top, a museum and a restaurant. There is also an open street market selling local products and souvinirs.
From the peak of Montserrat is endless views from different angles. This hike is very family friendly and one can easily spend a big part of the day exploring and enjoying the abundance of the views from the mountain peak. I am definitely going back here.
