Every year the people behind BOXWARS put on a free event in Melbourne. People make the most amazing cardboard costumes (cardboard cosplay) that they show off then get into a melee. There are always two sides, BOXWARS team vs everyone else. The melee is always spectacular and gives great photographic opportunities. This is also a great social occasion to meet some of the local cosplay community and chat with them or simply come along with a picnic and watch the fun.
